Kati is from Mooresville, NC, where she lived until moving to Boone, NC for college at Appalachian State University. Kati met her husband, Nate while they were both working for the App State's college radio station, 90.5 WASU. After graduation, Kati worked for Curtis Media Group in Boone, NC for two years before moving to Pennsylvania to work at 104.7 WAYZ for a year and a half. Kati currently works for Curtis Media Group in Raleigh, NC, but desires to be back home in the Charlotte area. Both Kati and her husband Nate have family and friends in the Charlotte area, so it is where they want to stay for a long time.

In her free time, Kati enjoys visiting new restaurants with her husband, and exploring nature with her dog, Blu.

Kati loves playing bass guitar, acoustic guitar and singing. You can also find her at a local bookstore or at a thrift store searching for gems.
